Wren is published by Spencer Fields, a sole trader established in the United Kingdom, at Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Lytchett Matravers, Poole, BH16 6FA. Installing or using Wren means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, delete the app.
Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with anything here, Apple's terms take precedence.
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Wren on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not resell it, rent it out, or attempt to extract its source in order to redistribute it. The app's source is published separately on GitHub under its own licence, and that licence — not this one — governs what you may do with the code.
Wren is free to use for guides of up to three places. Saving a guide with more than three places requires a one-time in-app purchase.
Some people are given a complimentary code instead of paying. A code is a favour rather than a purchase: it can be withdrawn at any time, and a code that also grants administrative access has to be re-confirmed with Wren's code server from time to time, so it lapses if it cannot be. None of that applies to the one-time purchase above, which is yours.
Purchases are made through Apple, not through Wren, so refunds are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Wren cannot issue refunds directly, because it never receives your payment.
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in these terms.
Wren finds places using Apple Maps and creates guides in Apple Maps. The place data, the addresses, the search results and the guides themselves are Apple's, not Wren's.
Two consequences worth stating plainly:
Do not use Wren to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to place content into Apple Maps that you have no right to place there. Do not attempt to interfere with the app or with Apple's services through it.
Wren is provided as it is. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or to find every place correctly. To the fullest extent the law allows, all implied warranties are excluded.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to the paragraph above, liability arising from your use of Wren is limited to the amount you paid for it. Wren is a convenience for saving places; it is not a navigation service, and decisions about where to travel remain yours.
You can stop using Wren at any time by deleting it. These terms may be updated, and the date at the top will change when they are; continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the place you live.
